The scholarship is awarded to students in the Department of Natural Sciences with a Chemistry & Biochemistry Major (up to $7,000) or Chemistry minor (up to $2,000), based on their GPA. The prospective applicant must have completed their first year of courses (are eligible for the award in spring of their second year), maintained during the previous academic year a "B" average (3.0 GPA) or better and show evidence of financial need.
